This guide will help you set up Internet Explorer 5.0 to connect to the Internet and allow you to browse the World Wide Web.

From the Tools menu select Internet Options

In the Home page address box type http://www.tmsinternet.co.uk

Whenever you start Internet Explorer, this will be the first page you see.

This is useful because we can keep you up to date with all the latest news and developments.

Click the tab marked Connections

All your Dial-Up Networking connections will be shown in the Dial-up settings window.

Click on the one you created (TMS Free) and click the Set Default button.

Make sure the "Always dial my default connection" radio button option is switched on.

When Internet Explorer tries to connect to the Internet for the first time, it will ask you to enter your user name and password details. Your user name and password are both tmsfree.

Make sure you tick Save Password. If you want Internet Explorer to dial the connection automatically every time it starts, tick the box labelled Connect automatically.

Click Connect. Your computer will dial the Internet and connect, then Internet Explorer will take you to the TMS Internet homepage.
